As children grow, so do a family’s needs—it’s time for a change. We’re introducing Moodbox’s ‘Pure Joy’ project: a beautifully renovated two-story apartment, designed for a family with grown-up children.
One of the clients’ key requests was to integrate their existing artworks into the interior. To achieve this, the space is dominated by white colour, creating a clean, minimalist backdrop that allows the owners’ art pieces to take center stage. The sterile aesthetic is softened by walnut-toned oak floors, stairs, and other wooden elements.
Natural materials, carefully chosen fabric textures, terrazzo tiles, and vibrant accents bring playfulness and energy to the design. Together, these elements create a home that feels clean and aesthetic, yet warm and full of life.
The author of the interior, Vaiva Godelaitienė, notes: “In the newly designed interior, we created space and solutions for the parents’ private bedroom with a separate bathroom. With the help of glass partitions, we managed to zone the small space on the second floor without visually dividing it. We also made room for more capacious wardrobes, a brighter and more functional kitchen, more spacious children’s rooms, and even the family pet.”
The designer also highlights: “It is a gift to work with clients who know what they want, listen to arguments, and share the same vision and approach. When that alignment happens, the overall result is truly pleasing.”
