Durable, timeless, and naturally beautiful — oak flooring brings quiet confidence to any space. In public and commercial interiors, including those with high footfall, the resilience of oak offers both longevity and sophistication. Thus, choosing natural oak floors is a statement of intent — a sign of belief in the project and a testament to the importance of every detail in shaping a truly elevated experience.
This time, we invite you into the Lumber Room (Naujoji Vilnia, Lithuania) — an place where centuries-old industrial heritage meets contemporary sensibility, natural materials, and considered design.
According to the founders of Lumber Room, the name harks back to British tradition. A ‘lumber room’ was a private space within aristocratic homes — a place to store rarely used furniture deemed too valuable to neglect. Today, that same reverence is reserved for cars. Lumber Room is a private club and car storage space located in a former 19th-century scythe factory, now transformed into a sanctuary for automotive enthusiasts who appreciate craftsmanship, history, and care.
Both interior and exterior of Lumber Room have been thoughtfully renewed to honour the original structure while introducing modern functionality and a refined, minimal aesthetic. Key to this atmosphere are premium materials, open space, and a deep respect for the natural.
Our Premium-grade oak floorboards in the light, airy tone 4008 Platinum allow the natural grain to speak for itself. The result is a flooring solution that feels both relaxed and quietly luxurious — a fitting foundation for a space where cultural heritage meets the present.
