Wide oak planks, in particular, play a key role in shaping the perception of space. The broader dimensions of these planks enhance the natural beauty of the wood while minimising visible joints, creating a cohesive and luxurious look. In Budraitytė’s design project, 230mm wide Rustic-grade floorboards stand out as a defining feature, contributing to the overall sense of harmony and authenticity within the space. Floorboards in Silk (E-8632) colour exude a quiet sophistication that complements the surrounding colour palette. At the same time, modern interior doors in Cacao (C-3418) shade add a contrasting touch that enhances the overall visual appeal.
The interplay of horizontal and vertical lines further enhances the visual dynamism of the interior. The verticals of the precisely milled Velvet doors, waving curtains and decorative walls accentuate the space’s perceived height, giving it a sense of modernity and grandeur. Complementing these sharper design choices are softer, rounded accents such as elegant round tables, pendant lamps and rounded vases, adding warmth and intimacy to the environment.
